REGULAR CLASSES

Classes run 7 days, mornings, daytime and evenings. See the timetable for full details. If you are new to the studio, please start in a Foundations class or a Beginners Course.
All classes are run in the Iyengar method of practice and teaching. We follow a cycle of class focus so that across any five days (or five weeks on the same day) you will get a rounded practice that includes standing poses, sitting poses, back bends, pranayama and miscellaneous. Inversions or variations on them are included in all classes. Classes will typically start quietly and finish quietly with some more vigorous, active poses between. We aim to take the nervous system through a process of stabilising, lifting and soothing, as well as taking the physical and physiological body through a process that combines strength, flexibility and stamina.
Before starting in regular classes, you will need to purchase a pass. Most students start with a class pack - 1 or 10 classes to be used within a year. If you've been coming for a while, and you know that this is your thing, you might choose a 50 class pack or an unlimited membership.
If you are coming to yoga with an injury or condition that may affect your practice, it may be advisable to have a private session first.
