YOGA FOR SENIORS

I started yoga at 50, and after 20 years I would say that it’s never too late to start. It’s something that I can return to no matter what is going on in my life and it supports my mental and physical health.

My favourite class is obviously the seniors Tuesday class. It's suitable for beginners to more advanced. Helen is good at adapting the pose or move to suit every ability.

I have only been doing Yoga for 2 and half years but I feel that is doing wonders for my body and mind. As I get older things aren't as easy as before so Yoga has helped with balance, movement and flexibility.

I hope to be able to continue with my Yoga well into my older age and will stay at Penrith Yoga, as long as I can still climb the stairs.
