I have been coming to classes at Penrith Yoga Studio for three years now. I started because I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my knee and wanted to ensure I developed strength and flexibility. I love trail running and have found Iyengar Yoga to be very beneficial for running. I now have better posture and core strength, which I notice particularly when running up hills or tackling Furber Stairs! Instead of hunching over with fatigue, I can lift my chest which helps me breathe and engage my core (and glutes!).
